If you are having issues with a Pinnacle Cart installation, go through this checklist before submitting a ticket to customer support.
1) Make sure your permissions are set correctly on the Pinnacle Cart files and folders. Included in the Pinnacle Cart zipped application is a readme.txt file. This document outlines how your permissions should be set.
2) Make sure you have provided Pinnacle Cart with the correct URL for installation. If you have not given us the correct URL, your licensing key will be invalid. If this is the case, please submit a support ticket.
If this is the case, please submit a support ticket. It is okay to install your cart on a folder outside of your roots such as mydomain.com/store. If you are trying to install the cart elsewhere such as a sub domain like dev.mydomain.com you will need to contact us an ask us to add the sub domain to the license. “note server requirements are the same for older version of the cart and the latest release.” You can follow these directions to add a development domain from you account here at Pinnacle.

3) Make sure your database is set up and you are entering in the correct information in the Pinnacle Cart Installer. Check that your database settings reflect the domain you are using for the install. In the data base, navigate to settings (page 6.) Then check that the global URLs are correct and reflect the domain address for the installation. If you are using a shared SSL for https you will need to provide the domain for the SSL in global https settings row.
4) Check with your host to insure you have the proper PHP version and configuration on the server. Pinnacle Cart needs the following configuration to run correctly:
PHP 4.3.x - 5.1 ( PHP version 5 is now supported in Pinnacle Cart version 3.4.2)
mySQL
Required libraries include:
GD Library Support (ver 2 recommended)
cURL Library Support
ZLib Support
Safe mode needs to be turned OFF in PHP
Be sure that php short tags are be enabled in php.ini
Additionally you need to be running Apache Web Server (http, https)
If you are still having issues, please submit a support ticket.
