How do I set up my Authorize.net gateway?

-If you don't have an authorize.net account go ahead and follow this link and sign up!
-Once you have signed up and have all your information ready go ahead and continue with the following steps

Then once you are in the Payment Methods you will want to scroll down to choose the option that is labeled
"accept credit cards and/or other processing methods"

Once you are there it will give you a drop down box of different gateways; go ahead and select the version of Authorize.net you'd like

-Once you have reached the next page you'll want to go ahead and fill out the required information;

-Payment Method Name: this is your preference of what you want the customer's to see
-Protocol: I would highly suggest to just leave that section for "HTTPS"
-Priority: this would be the order of where this would be listed on your cart
-Payment Processor ID: this should be left as what is set by default
-URL to Gateway: this is what YOU RECEiVE from your gateway
-Login: this is your login ID
-Authentication Method: you could choose password or transaction key
[it would be suggested to put "password"]
-Password: this is your password from auth.net
-Test Request: you have the option to test this out
-Auth Type: this is also for your preference, by default it does suggest to use Auth-capture
-Enable Cardinal Centinel: if your gateway supports this you would select "Yes"

-You can customize which credit cards you would like to have accepted.
DO NOT ENABLE CREDiT CARDS THAT ARE NOT ASSOCiATED WiTH YOUR AUTHORiZE.NET ACCOUNT, THiS WiLL ONLY CAUSE
CONFUSiON WITH YOUR CUSTOMERS !!

Lastly, are just additional information the system asks for

-the pay pal section is only required if you are going to be using pay pal.

Otherwise this is where you would go about clicking on "save changes" and you are now finished!
